Billy’s Tip ‘n Inn

First time visiting this eve. Cat/Kat (Batender) was amazing, so friendly and fun! I would come back just for her and the experience she gave! Add on.... The atmosphere, up north, UP feel when entering! Great food!! Fried mushrooms were fantastic!! Pastie?? Made in house, very good!! Gravy was wonderful though the preference was hot sauce and catsup! If they could just add rutabaga, it would truly be perfection!! Truly! Can’t have a Pastie without Rutabaga! Still would give it an 8 out if 10 without the rutabaga. The dough was wonderful as was the flavor. Large portion and filling! French onion soup, eh, I think they could certainly get this better!! I’m a French Onion Soup Snob!! I’ll give it 5 out of 10. Wouldn’t order again. Cheese was spot on as well as onions but the broth left me sad. Bland and boring. No richness. No beef flavor to fill your taste buds. The pulled pork sandwich was a 10! Delicious! Coleslaw was blue cheese and mild on cheese taste but so pleasant. Not too creamy! Not watery! Blue cheese crumbles or chunks would put it over the top!! Wings? Delicious. Crunchy celery and fantastic blue cheese dip!! Their Ranch and a alao wonderful! I will certainly come back for both atmosphere, fantastic Bartender and food! Lots more to try! Cat says the fish and chips is spot on! That will be my next try! Was so indulged in Cat conversation that I didn’t take photos of the pastie and the pulled pork, but seriously, take my word! Just as I was leaving, the entertainment was starting! Open Mic Night!! Fun!! I give this experience a two thumbs up! Cat is wonderful and watching the servers, I think this place has it going on! Seems like great chemistry within the staff!! That is a difficult task for any establishment! Kudos!!

Update: We went back in November and I just remembered that I took photos to share this time. This time we took some friends and the food was just as amazing as it was the first time I tried it and we'll definitely be visiting again in the future We decided, on a whim, to try something new while we were out running errands a couple weekends ago and ended up here. I'm not a huge fan of bar food, so I was beyond thrilled to find that they had quite an extensive menu. If you're a fan of bleu cheese and cole slaw, I highly recommend that you try their bleu cheese cole slaw. It's beyond amazing! Also, the hand cut cheese logs are no joke! They're huge and they're delish. Their marinara sauce is also amazing! You can definitely tell that they put a lot of pride into their cooking. As an added bonus, they also have live music!

I wanted to try this place for years and we finally went. I regret all those wasted years of not going. It is now in our standard rotation. Anything me and my wife have ever ordered was been nothing short of top notch. It is your basic bar food but its fresh and delicious. Easily one of my favorite burgers. The chili, ribs, Rueben, fish and chips all great. Service has been wonderful every single time. Great job Billy's!

Great food and drinks. Had the "World Famous" fish and chips. The people are fun and friendly. 10 out of 10

Lived in the area for years..... Never stopped in before today..... Glad I did. The wife loved the fish sandwich... I had the tortilla soup which was quite good and the bread sticks you get before your meal were fantastic! The BBQ on the way into the restaurant smelled amazing! I'll he to get it next time. We had a large group of 9 people last night, our server was KK, she was AMAZING!! Great personality, on top of all of our requests!! That girl needs a raise! Food was great, the band Slowfoot was awesome, loved the addition of the sax player, she was incredible! Overall a great night out!

We had dinner here today, chicken parmesan, prime rib and mac n cheese. Everything was fantastic! Service was great! Portion sizes are big enough to save some for tomorrows dinner!

We went to see "Dave Bennett" perform while we had dinner. Full house! The staff at Billy's is awesome. They treated us with quick friendly service and great food. Their smoked ribs alone are worth the drive.
